Psa
Prostate-specific antigen, is a common marker used to detect prostate cancer, although it is known to be a poor prognostic marker[@duijvesz2015aImmuno-based detection of extracellular vesicles in urine as diagnostic marker for prostate cancer: Extracellular vesicles as marker for PCa]. The incidence of prostate cancer increased dramatically when PSA testing was introduced into the market in the nineties[@ramirez-garrastacho2021Extracellular vesicles as a source of prostate cancer biomarkers in liquid biopsies: a decade of research].
Another possibility would be to look at CD9 and CD63 in extracellular vesicles, for example Extracellular vesicles as markers for prostate cancer.
